So basically this is the deal. My name is Jake. I’m from southern California, I go to school on the east coast, and I’m going to be spending four months studying abroad in Nagoya, Japan, followed by a month of traveling around Asia. The sole purpose of this blog is to chronicle what happens, so that people who are interested can be up to date, so that I’ll have an easy way to always remember it afterwards, and so that anyone else from my school who’s interested in studying abroad in Japan in the future can see what it’s like. I’ll try and update this blog once a week, but of course I’ll do it more often if lots of interesting stuff happens
